Desert Auto Spa and Car Wash

I come to this location because they are some of the best at washing your car. I drive from Gilbert just to have my car done by these guys and they make sure it’s spotless every time.

I brought my Audi Q5 here for a hand wash ($30) because I wanted to avoid scratches and swirl marks on the paint. Unfortunately, I noticed the staff using the same cloth that was used on the wheels to wipe down the body panels. Any dirt or brake dust from the wheels can easily scratch the paint, which defeats the purpose of paying for a hand wash. I also noticed an employee stepping on the door sill/side step area to reach the roof and, after finishing, that area wasn’t cleaned. I chose this place specifically to protect my vehicle’s paint, but the wash process did not reflect the level of care I expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend bringing a premium vehicle here. I have attached the pics and I don’t even think it’s worst $5 for such bad service!

I’ve been coming to Desert Auto Spa for over 15 years, and Rosa has been working the front counter/register for the last couple of years. She is honestly one of the nicest employees this car wash has had in all the years I’ve been coming here. She always greets people with a smile, knows me by first name, and goes out of her way to be accommodating and welcoming. Employees like Rosa are one of the main reasons customers continue coming back. She makes every client who walks through the door feel valued and appreciated. It’s very rare these days to find someone who consistently shows up to work with such a positive attitude and genuinely cares about customer service. Desert Auto Spa is lucky to have her, and she truly deserves recognition and honestly, a raise for the way she represents the business every single day.

Only place I take my car for a hand wash. There’s always super high end vehicles here (Rolls, McLaren’s etc), so you can tell they’re trusted. They take good care and pay attention to details. Nice waiting area is always well stocked well and air conditioned. Rosa always has a smile and is so nice. Options for pre-paid washes for a discount are appreciated. A+

Waste of time and money. Today I paid $60 for the VIP wash and interior clean, which is supposed to include interior vacuum, wipe down and shampoo floor mats as well as an exterior wash and wax. Very poor quality results inside and outside of my vehicle. Many missed areas. Excess product left behind. Failed to clean mats properly. Terrible vacuum job. They put my trunk mat into a different vehicle.
